Class A motor homes are 102 inches wide at the axle while most toad cars are less than 76 inches wide. Rocks and debris are angular and so is the roadway that bounces these projectiles past the competing products and smash your car.
Tow Car Shield has a 30 day trial period during which time the customer may use it for as many miles of travel as necessary to determine if the product is suitable. If the customer chooses to return for a refund the company must be notified prior to returning the TCS. The purchase price will be refunded in full but does not include shipping. Tow Car Shields are made to fit all common, commercial tow bar setups but, in the event that new variables arise the company will arrange to make the alterations free of charge. Unfortunately, given the variables in placement of brake-a-way switches, electrical connectors, cameras and other components we cannot guarantee they will fit the openings provided. At any time that a TCS needs to be repaired, for any reason, the company will repair or replace it at the company's choice. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and for the car it was purchased for.
Jeep Wrangler JL and JK. (we also cover the TJ, YJ and CJ)
Jeep Wrangler JL, mid 2018 to mid 2028, is the most commonly towed vehicle making 28% of our sales for Tow Car Shields. The JK version ran from mid 2007 until 2018. The JL is slightly larger than the JK but installation is the same. The JL and JT come equipped with different fender trims, two possible bumpers and a variety of running boards or, none at all.
Regardless to the running board option our straps and hooks accommodate all of them. After the first installation they secure quickly.
Two different bumpers come from the factory. Many off roaders choose after market bumpers, bull bars and winches. For these reasons we do not cover the bumpers. The stock bumpers are coated with bullet proof plastic and the bumper light lenses are Lexan. Tough stuff.
On each side of the windshield section is a polyester "flap" that folds inside of the door jam. Shut the door and lock the wind shield in place.
