WindTamer Camp Stove Companion is currently under redevelopment.
The concept was first developed as a simple device to block the high winds of California’s high desert and mountain regions that cause havoc with common camp stoves. Soon enough fellow off roaders and family campers took notice and asked for something they could also use. Engineering began.
NOMEX fabric melts around 775 degrees F. Fire fighters, race car drivers and many other professions wear NOMEX.
